Inspiration
I created letters for people to find.
I found something in return.
A community.
The “random acts of kindness” and “strangers helping strangers” communities are vast and various.
Missions I admire:
More Love Letters
“The world needs more love letters”
More Love Letters coordinates bundles of letters for a nominated person. The world needs more love letters & you’re the perfect person to write the letter.
When you want to write with a person in mind.
Dear Jack Foundation
“Letters with Love is an opportunity for volunteers to provide DJF program participants with words of hope, encouragement, and love as they are actively going through treatment. All you need is paper and something to write with to participate!”
Dear Jack Foundation was started by a fellow leukemia survivor, but he’s a name you may know - Andrew McMahon (frontman of the bands Jack’s Mannequin, Something Corporate).
When you want to write “Letters to Noelle”.
The Kindness Rocks Project
“One message at just the right moment can change someone’s entire day, outlook, life”
When you want to write something solid.
You are beautiful
“We believe in the power of simple messages. A single sticker can shift someone’s day, spark connection, and remind us all of our worth. Our mission is to share kindness, compassion, and community through creativity.”
I thoroughly love handing these out or leaving them as a little surprise with a tip. People light up.
